Here's the deal: I'm a guy who grew up loving comics, sci fi, superhero cartoons, choose-your-own-adventure stories, etc. in the 1980s. In the world of comics and cartoons, I feel like most everything went to crap after about 1988. Stuff got more expensive...bloodier...grittier...and, of course, crappier.
I used to be a HUGE fan of Marvel Comics...now I barely recognize any of the heroes of my childhood. That's fine, I guess. I understand that things move on and the market changes...but I don't enjoy what I'm reading anymore.
Since my day job affords little opportunity for out-of-this-world adventure and imagination, I feel that creative void all the more keenly.
Imagination Lab Zeta is primarily a place for me to play...to let my mind and spirit run free...just like it was 1988 all over again.
